Parading Through Selborne

4th of July brings the community of Chattahoochee Hills together.

Serenbe residents love a reason to gather and celebrate. They also love a reason to play. And a theme. Do they EVER love a theme! So each year when Independence Day rolls around, the residents get the opportunity to enjoy all three.

The day starts off with the annual City of Chattahoochee Hills 4th of July Parade, which goes through the Selborne neighborhood from the Wildflower Meadow to the Stables. This parade has been around almost as long as the neighborhood itself, with the first one in 2006. Not only will you see the usual floats being pulled and decorated fire trucks, Chattahoochee Hills residents decorate tractors, golf carts, bicycles, and wagons.

Residents AND visitors line Selborne Lane to watch the parade go by, then Serenbe residents work together to plan other activities throughout the day. It all culminates in an annual fireworks display. That part’s not open to the public, but that’s why they say the best reason to live here is the life here!
