When Gigi Wilborn went to college, her mom told her “I’ll send you for one thing and one thing only, and that’s to be a nurse.” A degree, marriage, and kids later, and Gigi’s career had been carved out…or so she thought.
Gigi’s husband knew she was a creative and surprised her a few years ago with starter art set that included an easel, canvases, and paint. He sent her to a hotel for two nights and told her “I want you to paint your heart away.” She’s been painting ever since.
