minro studio is thrilled to welcome Aleisha of Utility Objects for a special weekend wheel throwing workshop! Aleisha is not only a talented potter and friend of Minro, but also a celebrated artist who has collaborated with brands like West Elm, Nordstrom, and Food52.
Over the course of two sessions (three hours Saturday + three hours Sunday), you’ll dive into the essentials of wheel throwing: centering, pulling walls, and shaping forms. You’ll also explore trimming techniques and—if time allows—learn the basics of attaching handles. All levels are welcome!
Each participant will create 3–4 pieces, choose a glaze, and leave the rest to us—we’ll fire and glaze your work so it’s food-safe and ready to use or gift.
Workshops are kept intentionally small (just six spots) for a hands-on experience. We require at least four participants to run the workshop, and all participants must be 16+.
