December 11 | 5:00p-7:00p | Hawthorne Room at the Inn

Join international bestselling author Richard Louv ("Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder" and more than 10 other titles) and Steve Nygren for an evening of conversation about the ideas at the heart of Louv’s newest and most personal book, "Noticing: Intimate Encounters with the Natural World."

Together, Richard and Steve will discuss what it means to cultivate “bioenchantment”: a deeper, more embodied relationship with the natural world that can restore our sense of wonder, ground our sense of self, and offer hope in a time that sorely needs it. Attendees can expect a warm, substantive, and wide-ranging conversation that moves between the deeply personal and the broadly urgent: what it means to be human, to pay attention, and to find our way back to the living world. The evening will include a moderated conversation, audience Q&A, and book signing. Hills & Hamlets Bookshop will have books for sale at the event.
